Our Commitment
GlowBoard is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to help users of all abilities access our exam preparation platform.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for all people.
GlowBoard is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have implemented the following accessibility features:
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (
<main>,<nav>,<footer>) throughout the application - ARIA labels on interactive controls (navigation buttons, avatar menus)
- Keyboard-navigable interface — all interactive elements are reachable via Tab key
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for primary text (WCAG AA compliant)
- Responsive design supporting text resizing up to 200% without loss of content
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- All form inputs have associated labels
Known Limitations
We are actively working to address the following known accessibility gaps:
- Some quiz interface components may not be fully optimized for screen readers — we are actively testing and improving these.
- AI-generated blog content may not always include alt text for any embedded images.
- Some third-party components (PayPal checkout) are outside our direct control and may have their own accessibility limitations.

The platform has been tested with the following assistive technologies: keyboard-only navigation, and automated testing via axe-core. We plan to expand testing to include NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers.
